Samosa With Chocolate Filling

Samosa with Chocolate Filling Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 3 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups refined oil (for frying)
  • 2 ½ cups dark chocolate (Campco Choco Mass recommended)
  • 2 ½ tablespoons pistachios (chopped)
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 8 teaspoons caster sugar
  • 4 tablespoons ghee

Method:

  1. Melt chocolate: Place 100g of Campco Choco Mass in a bowl and microwave until smooth.
  2. Prepare dough: In another bowl, combine all-purpose flour, 6 teaspoons caster sugar, and ghee. Mix until the mixture has a crumbly texture, then knead lightly to form a dough.
  3. Make filling: Mix pistachios, melted chocolate, and remaining caster sugar in a bowl. In a saucepan, heat 2 cups water with sugar until it dissolves into a thick syrup. Remove from flame and set aside.
  4. Shape samosas: Divide the dough into small portions and roll out palm-sized discs. Place 2 teaspoons of the chocolate-pistachio filling in the center of each disc. Fold and seal tightly into a triangular samosa shape.
  5. Fry: Heat refined oil in a deep pan over medium flame. Once hot, gently slide in the samosas and fry until golden brown. Transfer to a tissue-lined plate to drain excess oil.
  6. Coat in syrup: Dip the fried samosas into the prepared sugar syrup, turning to coat evenly. Place them on a plate and drizzle with extra melted chocolate if desired.

Crispy, rich, and oozing with chocolate — these samosas are a sweet twist on a classic!
