Chocolate Frozen Banana Recipe

These chocolate frozen bananas are the perfect dessert for a summer day — refreshing, fun, and a healthier sweet treat to enjoy with your little ones all summer long!

Ingredients:

  • 6 ripe bananas
  • For Chocolate Dip: 2 cups chopped Campco Choco Mass (dark chocolate)
  • Toppings:
    • 2 tablespoons crushed mixed nuts (almonds, pistachios, or peanuts)
    • 2 tablespoons grated coconut flakes
    • 2 tablespoons chopped dried fruit

Method:

  1. Prepare tray: Line a tray with baking paper.
  2. Freeze bananas: Peel bananas and insert popsicle sticks halfway through each. Place on tray and freeze for 2 hours until firm. This ensures the chocolate sets quickly and toppings stick well.
  3. Prep toppings: Have crushed nuts, dried fruit, and coconut ready in bowls.
  4. Melt chocolate: In a heatproof bowl over simmering water, melt the Campco Choco Mass, stirring occasionally until smooth.
  5. Coat bananas: Dip one frozen banana at a time into the melted chocolate, using a spoon to cover any uncovered spots.
  6. Add toppings: Immediately sprinkle with nuts, dried fruit, or coconut. Place back on tray and return to freezer. Work quickly — the chocolate hardens fast.
  7. Enjoy: Once all bananas are coated and frozen, your summer-ready chocolate frozen treats are ready to enjoy!
